Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2008. I still get excited on a daily basis by all of the moss growing on everything. I’m deeply inspired by and in awe of the natural world, and am constantly evolving my art practice to work more sustainably while still exploring new ways of creative expression. Whether that’s building with reclaimed pallet wood, making molds with shredded plastic to-go containers, or making my own paper from the never ending supply of snail mail, I'm dedicated to working more ethically and conscientiously. I’m excited by what I see as a unique intersection between artistic creation and radical problem solving that is desperately needed in our society. When I’m not making art, I’m working on my dream home in the woods and trying to put my bare feet in the dirt on a daily basis.
